Lindsey Byrnes

Lindsey brings a wealth of personal and professional knowledge regarding youth mental health and is devoted to making a difference in her community through the statement: “be who you needed when you were younger”.


Lindsey was born, raised and currently resides in Abbotsford BC, where she works as a Youth Care Worker in the school district, Clinical Counsellor in the community and is proudly the Vice President of Matsqui-Abbotsford Impact Society. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Child and Youth Care from the University of Victoria in 2012, and her Master of Arts in Clinical Counselling from Yorkville University in 2016.


Lindsey spends much of her spare time working to make change in her community, through various volunteer initiatives supporting youth and families with mental health and/or substance use challenges. When she is not working or volunteering her time, she can be found hanging out her Labradoodle puppy, Luka!
