Werry Workforce Whāraurau

Improving mental health and wellbeing for infants, children and young people through service improvement, workforce development, and advocacy.

Werry Workforce Whāraurau, is the national centre for infant, child and adolescent mental health and addiction workforce development.

We work toward improving the mental health of children and young people in New Zealand through supporting teaching, training, resources, promoting evidence based practice, workforce development, advocacy, and by actively supporting those who provide services to children, young people and their families/whanāu.

We are contracted by the Ministries of Health, Education and Oranga Tamariki through Auckland UniServices Ltd, to undertake workforce development within the infant, child and adolescent mental health and addictions sector.
