Gwekwaadziwin Miikan

The Gwekwaadziwin Miikan Seven Grandfathers Program is entering into its fifth year of operation, having delivered its continuum of services since 2018. Gwekwaadziwin Miikan strives to meet clients on the spectrum of care, from stabilization through treatment; life skills development through live-in aftercare; and supported community reintegration through community aftercare. In August 2019, Ontario Associate Minister of Mental Health and Addictions identified Gwekwaadziwin Miikan as a “centre of excellence” for its culturally-sensitive and innovative programming.
